About The Art Faculty

The Art Faculty (TAF) is a social enterprise by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), a Singapore charity started in 2000. Founded with a clear mission, TAF spotlights the talents of artists on the autism spectrum and promotes them through their original art pieces and artworks embellished onto quality, functional products. Each product carries the artist’s profile—giving them recognition as true talents. Every sale creates meaningful income for these artists, helping them build financial independence and confidence.

The Art Faculty also trains and employs differently-abled individuals in our retail outlets, café, design team and warehouse.

About Our Artists

The Art Faculty currently serves and represents talented artists from Pathlight School’s award-winning Artist Development Programme (ADP). The School is part of the same charity Autism Resource Centre (Singapore).

Launched in April 2011, ADP is a signature programme for students and alumni from Pathlight School. ADP uncovers artistic talents in students and develop them to their full potential. Practicing artists and art coaches are engaged to hone our student artists with art skills and teach them good work habits, too. Students are exposed to numerous art media and genres, but each of them arrives at their own unique style and subject focus. Here, their autism traits are turned into strengths. Some are able to execute highly detailed architectural renderings, while others are experts in a specific subjects, such as animals or nature.
